Beginner Sewing Lessons-Kids/Teens

Give your child the gift of machine sewing lessons!  Learning a fun new craft they will use for a lifetime! All ages and ability levels.

Weekly machine sewing lessons at your location anywhere in the Austin area! With Miss Jillian of Austin Sewing Lessons.  Each lesson is approx. 2 hours.

***Classes can take place at instructors location in North Austin if it works better for your family!

Flexible scheduling: mornings or afternoons, some evening and weekend availability.

Classes run in four week blocks and can be continued month to month as long as you wish.

Create fun projects while learning new skills and build on skills with each lesson.

Ages 6+ (lessons and projects are tailored to age range and abilities).

Sewing machine will be provided if you do not have one.

OPTION A :  MATERIALS INCLUDED  $375

For this option, all materials are supplied including tools, thread, needles, sewing machine, notions, fabric scissors, pins, etc and all materials and fabric for each project including a variety of fabric choices for each project.  Student will also get their own sewing kit with a variety of tools and supplies to keep.  This option is great if your family has no sewing experience or supplies and you are starting from scratch!

OPTION B: MATERIALS NOT INCLUDED   $300

For this option you will be given a list at the beginning of a four week session with all supplies including the absolute necessities as well as some extras that are helpful but may be optional.  You'll also be given a list of fabrics to select for each of the four projects including amount.  This option is great for adults or for children if you already have a lot of sewing supplies and material laying around or you'd like to choose your own fabrics and build up a supply of tools and notions going forward!

OPTION C: ONE TIME TRIAL LESSON $85 (ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED)

Not sure if your child will love it? Try out a single 2 hr beginner lesson. We will go over all the basics of using the machine, do some practice stitches, and then make a simple square pillow.  Cost of the single lesson will be put towards a four week package if you decide to continue.
